As human activity reignites following the pandemic, we hope you can maintain some silence and self-care amongst the busyness of daily life. During the past year of lower manufacturing activity, the environment blossomed and healed as pollution levels reduced. Similar to humans, some calm and self-care can be rejuvenating for our bodies and soul.
We reminisce on our time at the Spa Koh Chang Resort, Thailand. Being fortunate to travel to such a lush, peaceful destination we undertook a detox to cleanse our bodies.
The Spa bungalows overlooked the tranquil, infinity pool, similar to tree canopies. Morning yoga followed by a wholesome plant-based breakfast, and silence, as we researched about coconut leather, a novel food-based material that can be used in footwear and apparel applications.
The ingenuity of this world is fascinating, and we savor these developments.
We toured the local villages and beaches, helping the community where possible as they thrive on tourism income.
Thankful for what we have, we aim to help local family businesses and communities working to prosper food-based textiles to improve our land and environment.
